Welcome to GENIUS COSMOS. As scientists, we are interested in discovering why the universe is the way it is. This blog aims to describe how scientific evidence over the past few decades has opened up new perspectives on this topic, since as we learn more about our universe, it becomes more evident that its properties seem to be ingeniously designed.

GENIUS COSMOS is intended as a community of scientists and scholars willing to discuss how scientific evidence points to the existence of intelligence or a mind behind our universe. The goal of this blog is to promote respectful conversations within the secular community to address which hypothesis best explains the properties of our universe taking into account worldviews other than materialism. Some fundamental questions of interest for this community are: why is there something rather than nothing? is there any evidence of design in the universe? what is the origin of biological information? among many others.
